We’re proud to say each Herdysleep mattress is manufactured entirely in the north of England by fifth generation master bed makers, Harrison Spinks. By championing British industry, Herdysleep are helping to support traditional skills that have been nurtured for over 150 years.

Wool from the cute and lovable Herdwick sheep lies at the heart of every Herdysleep mattress. Sourced from farmers in the Lake District, at fair trade rates, the Herdwick wool is partnered with fluffy cotton fibres to create a soft, luxurious sleep surface. As well as being naturally flame-resistant and hypoallergenic, wool is highly absorbent and breathable. Also a natural insulator, it helps to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.

All materials used in the construction of a Herdysleep mattress are fully recyclable or biodegradable. We use natural materials layered with the innovative Quad Cortec™ spring system, which removes the need for foam or glue in the construction. This means at the end of its life a Herdysleep mattress can be easily stripped down and all components fully recycled.

We are so confident that your Herdysleep mattress won’t let you down, we guarantee it for 10 years. In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your mattress construction, we’ll repair it or replace it, free of charge.
